Glastonbury has announced that Paul McCartney will headline the Pyramid Stage at the world-famous U.K. festival in 2020, set to take place from June 24th–28th in Pilton, Somerset, England. As of now, the Glastonbury date marks McCartney’s only scheduled 2020 performance.Says Glastonbury co-organiser Emily Eavis in a statement included with the announcement, “Having Paul McCartney coming back to headline the Pyramid next year is an absolute dream come true. There really was no one that we wanted more for the 50th anniversary.” McCartney’s performance at Glastonbury’s Pyramid Stage will take place on Saturday, June 27th. The former member of The Beatles previously headlined Glastonbury in 2004.
