A standout athlete on the Port Isabel High School varsity softball team, Marina has been participating in various softball programs since the age of seven, and has been selected to a number of select teams.Marina was selected to the PIHS varsity squad as a freshman and was the team’s starting left fielder by the time she was a sophomore. She garnered All-District Honorable Mention and Second Team All-Metro honors last year, as well. “I don’t know why I love it (softball) so much, I just do.
