Argos Complete Fall Season with Blue-Green World Series

first_img PENSACOLA, Fla. – The University of West Florida baseball team completed their 2009 fall season of team practice with their annual Blue-Green World Series. The World Series is a best-of-five intrasquad series managed by Graduate Assistants Owen Davis, Logan Hundley and David Pedro. Team Hundley battled back to win the final two games and take the series 3-2.Game one of the series saw plenty of offense as Team O.D. would go on to win 10-5 and take a 1-0 lead. Team Hundley battled back in game two to even the series up at one a piece before dropping game three. With a 2-1 lead, Team O.D. failed to close out the series as Team Hundley rallied from behind in the final two games to win the World Series. The Argos complete the fall season with a 41 man roster consisting of 19 returning players and 22 newcomers. They are set to kickoff the season on the road on February 2nd 2010 against Montevallo.
