Amaral wore a GoPro camera for an entire day to show what it is like to be an NCAA student-athlete.West Florida (23-4, 9-0 GSC) ranks No. 8 in the latest Intercollegiate Tennis Association Division II women’s tennis national rankings released on Wednesday. UWF won its fourth consecutive and 14th overall GSC championship this season and moves up one spot in the national ranking as they head into the NCAA DII South Regionals.Monika Kochanova (Bratislava, Slovakia) ranks No. 6 nationally in singles play after finishing the regular season 16-4 while Laure-Eline Faure (Toulouse, France) ranks No. 47 after finishing the regular season 12-5.Kochanova and Faure rank as the No. 5 doubles team in the south region after finishing the regular season on a 13-match win streak.West Florida will next compete in the NCAA DII South Regional on May 3-4 in Miami, Fla.
